OVERSIZED –

Very plastic white firing Earthenware. Good for throwing and handbuilding. Desirable clay where high plasticity is required. Bisque 05 + (1050oC). Glaze 1080-1150oC.(4% shrinkage). Good glaze fit. Compatible with various commercial clear glazes.(i.e.Cesco 5381A)

The addition of cellulose fibres gives this clay extreme plasticity and dry strength. Can be used as an air drying clay, or fired to normal earthenware temperatures. Underglazes and glazes should be applied after bisque (1st) firing. Shrinkage Wet – 1100c 4%
