Neocolor II Aquarelle Artists Crayons are renowned for their exceptional quality, marked by excellent lightfastness, intense pigmentation, and versatility across various techniques. Softer than coloured pencils yet firmer than childrens wax crayons, these pastels respond remarkably well to wet brushes, allowing seamless integration of wet and dry methods within a single artwork. Their strong pigmentation enables light colours to overlay dark ones effectively. The crayons also support the sgraffito technique, where scraping reveals engraved effects. Soft enough to blend with fingertips yet resilient like firmer pastels, Neocolor II crayons are water-soluble and measure 105 mm in length and 10 mm in diameter.
