The Graphite Aquarelle pencils are watersoluble graphite pencils in finest artists quality, with special SV bonded leads to prevent breakage. With its environmentally friendly water-based varnish, Graphite Aquarelle are the ideal solution for classical watercolour painting, preliminary sketches and mixed media projects.

Available in 5 degrees of hardness: HB, 2B, 4B, 6B and 8B, the different degrees of hardness allow you to achieve strong contrasts of light and dark washes. When applying a wet brush to the graphite, the intensity of the shades of grey can be controlled by adding more or less water. Precisely drawn lines and structures completely dissolve to become watercolour effects. The character of the line can be changed by drawing on wet paper.
