The Faber Castell charcoal set contains several types of charcoal, including compressed charcoal crayons that are produced from a fine mixture of soot and charcoal. Also included are natural charcoal sticks made by carbonizing resin-free twigs under exclusion of air. These can be used to produce uniform deep black lines, and can be easily wiped and corrected. The set also contains a grey, kneaded eraser.
