Kiln Shelves are an essential part of the firing process. Many kilns are purchased with furniture kits that include a full assortment of shelves and posts designed to fit the contour of your kiln. Our assortment of kiln shelves allows artists the freedom to load their kilns any way they want.

Most kiln models allow for the option of using full shelves or half shelves. Half shelves allow for more loading options when working with a variety of pottery shapes and sizes. Full shelves are typically used for the first layers of shelving or if an artist is firing pottery pieces that are essentially the same size and shape, to avoid gaps between the shelves.
