The Mont Marte Long Handle Gesso Brush is made of Chungking hog bristle. The white hog-bristle is excellent for spreading gesso or varnish. For controlled background applications of colour use the brush to maneuver gesso, applying glazes, Varnish and covering large areas. The brush has a varnished wooden paintbrush-style handle.
